Always expect the unexpected.......

I had plumbing problems about 4 weeks ago. I called the plumber (a friend) and he came out and I helped him auger the main drain lines in the backyard that lead to the street. We worked about an hour and a half on it and got a lot of roots out the lines until we couldn't go any further. Then I had to call the city and they brought out this truck that looked like a scud missle launcher and used a jet wash to clean out the rest of the lines. I got a bill from my plumber for $149.00 for his services and he said you won't have any more problems with that for a LOOOOOOOONG time!

4 weeks later and I am still having problems. I can't wash clothes because for some reason when the washer drains, water pours out from underneath the toilet in the bottom floor bathroom. I finally got the plumber here yesterday and he is kind of puzzled as to what is going on. He starts digging where the drain lines come out of the back of the house.

He dug a 5 foot trench by hand (no fucking telling how much that is going to cost because I didn't help him with that!) and my main drain line has collapsed. I asked him when could he fix it? He said he didn't do that!

I had to call another plumber and he was out of town yesterday but he did come at 7:30 this morning and he told me I had to call the gas company to locate the gas lines. I did that and I told them it was an emergency. They are coming in a few hours to do that and then I have to call the plumber so he come back out and start digging.

Hopefully, I can get this all done today because I have to shit real bad!

Always expect the unexpected

These are great words by the infamous "Dalton", personally though, I'd thought he be bigger.

Fuck Brad Wesley. peace

I had a plumber in a few weeks ago and when he gave me his bill I told him that he charges more than my Doctor, he said, yeah I know I use to be a surgeon.

Drumb thump.

Just be thankful the plumbing system that counts is still in working order! At our age that is nothing to take for granted!

I guess there are THINGS to be thankful for!?!:)

Wodin....we must use the same surgeon I mean plumber!

The only thing I have going for me at this point is I have a street that runs beside my house (corner lot) and I had some drain line work done about ten years ago. The part that has collapsed is only about 20 - 25 feet from the newer lines. The plumber said it was going to cost about $600 - $800 to repair.

:FRlol:
I guess my wife won't mind new sewer lines for a Christmas present this year.
