Beans are an excellent cutting carb...black eyed peas, black beans, kidney beans, etc. 1/2 cup is typically 7 gr. protein/20 carb/100 calories with 7 gr. of fiber.

150 gram sweet potato is approximately 150 calories and 35 grams of carbohydrates. Almost the same as 3/4 cup cooked brown rice.
