Alright, best club in Manhattan?

I think it all depends on what you are into. I can hit a club like SF on night but then want to listen to hip-hop the following week so I would hit chaos, or NV. Wanna hang out with some model chicks, hit up Eugenies, China, suite 16, lotus. Wanna go to a lounge hit up justines for the hip-hop environment or slate or the Russian Tea room. If its for just a good damm party and a wild night SF would be the one with pre party at world.
 
SF is definitely a good club...after hours is when the music is pumping. Exit is alright too although i haven't been there yet since its been renovated. Cheetah was good - i was there on a Thursday nite
 
if your fucked up,,most of them are good, Factory is good,,,exit used to be ok havent been there after the Earth thing, centro fly is ok if u like the trendy type of thing...again like yellowbottle said, it depends on what your into
 
limelight is cool...it is kind of creepy at first because you are going into an old church, but once you're in there it has a pretty good vibe

talked to my boy who went to exit/earth this past saturday and he said it was 80-90% straight until about 4 then the gay pride parade began to show up..the roxy let out...by 7am it was 80% gay...so i guess if we want to enjoy exit, we have to go early and leave early or deal with juniors boys

Do not waste your time going to earth sat nite is gay nite and i went on a fri which is supposed to the good one. it was way too crowded and they didn't card at the door so i swear there were some kids there that looked 15. if you are really 22 then you will feel middle age in there. i am 27 and felt like a senior citizen. there are also asian glow stick gangs, i felt like i was in china town.
 
SF was great Saturday night. Women EVERYWHERE - absolutely great x'd out vibe. For me much preferable to be surrounded by junior's crowd that's for sure.

hmmm.... i hafta say.... none of it is even close to how it was a couple of years ago. i guess the scene changed a lil.... plus ALOT of people got busted. i used to be a fixture in SF on saturday nites.... many memorable MANGLED expiriences there!!!!!! thats one building you cannot enter and stay sober in, i dont care what anyone says!!!!!! i think roxy friday nites used to be the shit!!!!!! now, im more into the lounge thing. saci on thursdays is good.... i hear penelope tuesday is pretty good at centro fly. im more likely to go somewhere for the dj now instead going to a club just to go. plus, i think the fact that i dont drop anymore kinda changes things......:p

Well when Twilo was around it would rip them all a new ass. S&D spinning was fucking out of control. PVD like till 6am amazing. And I wasn't tripping at all. Just natural high from the DJ's music and the vibe.
 
Crackheads love SF...lol its true, its nearly impossible to be sober in that club during afterhours so thats definitely not my scene, so if you like drugs SF is definitely the #1....but as far as loungey relaxed places go I prefer One51..
 
If you don't work Tuesday's the China Club is the club on Mondays. I was amazed how packed the club got. SF is for crackheads. Exit Fridays sucks. A bunch of teenie boopers.

Centro-Fly sucks!!! A bunch of white trash and little kids were in there when I was there on 12/21/01. Centro-Fly wouldn't even rank in lil' ole Denver, CO!

It was a bunch of high schoolers and frat boys when I was there. What a joke! I hope that was an off night because I've seen 'the fly' get lots of props on this board!

If one wants to see little kids, wanna-be's and drunken assholes then why would one waste their time going to the city when they could party in Jersey's favorite town of Hoboken?

P.S. the interior of 'the fly' needs to be reonovated. It is a shithole...

I've been clubbing on and off since 1991, so I have seen alot of changes...

went to twilo from 96 till it closed..fridays. Loved that place...best international dj's by far in NYC....

clubs i have frequented...limelight, vinyl, sound factory, centro-fly, copa (yes, latin club), palladium, robots, so many more...

right now..however, I only go when there is a dj I like around...not too pleased with the scene here right now.. went to Limelight last fall for jeff mills and richie hawtin (2 of my favs) but the people were so horrible...I literally had to kick the shit out of 4 or 5 guys cause they wouldnt stop harassing and touching me...

I like the summer season cause they have the sunday night boat cruises with great dj's..now those are sick!

fav party is the tronic party on monday nights...was at guernica..now to be at baktun....best techno party in the city hands down, baktun is on 14th street and 9th ave..very cool place as well...

I am trying out a new place for a little drum & bass this thursday....MINT...have heard good things...
