Almonds?

How many of you eat nuts of some sort in a few meals? How many. I'm always confused on serving size. Would 15 in each of two meals (on before bed) = 1 serving? I dont have many other fats in my diet.
 
i ususally eat 1 serving a day, if I need more good fats in the daily intake. for me a serving is about 25 almonds.

Yep, 1 oz. servings is a good way to go. I weigh out 1 oz. of walnuts for instance most every day, put them in a baggie.

I think you asked this question last year. Not sure if you got a straight answer so here goes. This is for all nuts in general for a 1 ounce serving size :

Almonds: 24
Peanuts whole: 35
Cashews: 17
Macadamias: 11
Hazelnuts: 19
Walnut halves: 12
Pistachios shelled: 46
Pine Nuts: 154
Pecan halves: 15
Brazil Nuts: 7

KARMA! Hell no I never got a str8 answer.......35 peanuts??? Geeze, I've been wayy under! That's what 15 whole shelled peanuts........

Cashews are awesome too....a little rich for my blood....my new meals will have 10 peanuts and 10 almonds.....1 serving = 16g of awesome fats, 3x a day!
 
kurz, sorry bro, i meant 1 serving a day. around 25 almonds.

Great (general) guideline :)

After reading the label on my Blue Diamond Almonds (serving size 28g = 28 almonds) I weighed them, and THAT was not the case .. more like 15-18 almonds was an ounce ... those cals can add up very fast.

Nah, I new almonds were in the 20's, but maybe yours weigh more.....arent blue diamonds coated with something? Sugar/salt, or sweetner??? I get 100% organic only.

ahahaha she is the worse shes the one that keeps buying them even after I tell her not to,same thing with the PB and Jelly lol.Peanut butter and Jelly and peanuts are my weak spots lol.Actually now that I think of it most yummy food is my problem lol,wish I didnt like food so much or I liked bulking,that would be so easy for me haha,I could easily consume 5000 calories a day and be hungry.

I'm not as strict as some of the others, but I do love me a handfull of Almonds, walnuts, cashews, or peanuts now and then. Especially at night if i'm watching tv or reading a book before bed. I prefer the Almonds though, I like to bake them in the oven first or roast them with moms roaster thingy
