allergic reaction,,,eca,,cla,,ala,,?

Had allergic reaction to something causing swelling and hives on wrist, hips and , eyes,,trying to figure out what caused it,,,currently taking no aas,,,just 4.5grams of ala ,cla,creatine,protein and eca ,dhea, any suggestions,,doctor said i had a allergic reaction but couldnt tell me to what it was

Me to bro, Its the ALA. I'm having the same problems. I'm not taking anything else either. I start to itch and get hives all over ( red patches and it not my liver or kidneys because it just had bloodwork done. I started to have problems when I went above 4 g's a day. I think a couple of other people have had the same problems.

fuck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!that sucks ok how long was it before you had the hives or symptoms,,i have been taking it for over a week like that with no problems,,,and did you cut back to like 3 grams,and the shit go away or did you quit all together or what,,,i like the shit but damn it itches like crazy and the hives look bad also,,,,anyone else have the same problems

I was only taking 1800mg a day and i broke out with a rash or hives on my lower chest and upper abdomen and inner thighs. I dropped it to 1200mg and it was still there a little. It just sucks for me that i am so sensitive to it so i just stopped taking it.

It started about a week into it when I went above 2000 but got really bad when I wnet above 4000. I also got the shits bad as well. I have been off for two days now. It ssems to be getting better. I'm not sure but I think something builds up in your system. It should take no more than 3-7 days to clear up. But this shit drives me nuts. I start itching and nothing helps except a little claritain but that makes me tired so I can't win. It is eoither be miserable and itch myself raw or sleep my day away which is not an option since I have to work.

The same thing happens to me when i take cell tech and i couldnd figure out what it was...till i got some ala...and i bought the 100 mgs tabs and so i took like five at once and 30 minutes later i seriously was thinking about running through a wall...heives and itching all over...now i coudnt see myself taking 2-3g of this shit....but i still take my cell tech and i take about a gram of ala a day ...how? i take 2 100mgs pills through out the day till i hit 1g just make sure you dont scratch it will go away and before i go to bed i take 3 100mg tabs and since i`m sleeping there no scratching ...

ok guys,,you were right ,,its the damn ala. Stopped taking it for 2 days and it cleared up. Took some and broke out twice as bad,,that shit really fucks me up,,i mean eyes swelled together fucked up. Anyway thanks for the replys,,its just nice to know what caused it and what not to take,,,by the way its been 2 days and if i strach the damn hives come back,,,hope your right about the 3 to 7 days,,,,,,,,,,,,,

My Girlfriend had the same type of reaction to Xenadrine. She kept taking it and her throat nearly became swollen shut. She had to go into hospital for a day. They shot her up with epinephrine and got it undercontrol. The doctor suggested that it could have been a tainted batch, but he wasn't sure.
