all natty peanute butter enough efa?

lol.. NO!!!!1
it's omega-6 fatty acids, which is the kind of fat you already have a ton of in your diet.
actually I'm sorry for laughing, I would have been clueless about that question a year ago.
u need omega-3's
but the ANPB is at least unsaturated fat and not bad for you
I am 90% sure it has no omega-3 but lord knows I've been wrong
hope that helps

No, as Bran987 said

not enough omega 3s my friend :)

Ok, didn't think so. Havnt done any research on any of that yet. Was just hoping it did because I have 12 dollars for another week and can't buy anything. Anything else besides flaz oil and the fish oil that help with these?

you can get 1 pound of raw walnuts halves and pieces for $5.99 at the health food store if you buy them in bulk.. a serving of walnuts is just 1/4 cup so that lasts for awhile

walnuts are high in o-3's?

what about o-9's? no one ever brings them up. where are they abundant and is there a need to supplement with them?

1) Walnuts have some o-3's but the amount is nominal, compared to the load you need to get daily
2) o-9's=monounsaturated acids - extra virgin olive oil, almonds, etc = just as necessary other fatty acids for proper metabolic functioning; fish oil+extra virgin olive oil=must! get o-6's from the rest of the foods you consume!

this is terrible. I've been eating them a lot. Thought they were high in o-3's :( back to drawing board

Is eating a all natural peanut butter sandwhich enough for EFA's in day?

Unfortunately no.
As have been said, it's mostly Omega-6 EFA's.
You need the more important Omega-3's.

Either eat fatty fish or buy a fish oil supplement(deodorized)

thanks for clearing that up!

I love eating fish. Salmon, tuna, swordfish, bass, & crappie :p

Juve, or anyone else for that matter...

Almonds contain Omega-3 acids, but what about peanuts? Dry roasted peanuts. No shells, just the chopped up Planters nuts. Are these high in 3's? Or only 6's? Or not even those? I was thinking I'd replace my peanuts with a tbsp of olive oil, which I'm guessing is a better option.

o3's are found in abundance in flax oil and fish oil (some also in hemp oil i believe). Thats really the only type of EFA one should be supplementing with.
