Negative flyboy! There are no Muslims left, the core committed genocide on them... They did Jesus a service by wiping out the infidels.. Yes! Jesus loves me, for the bible tells me soo! Do you know Amazing Grace was written about the core??? God saved the world when he created the USMC...

"God has a hard on for Marines, because we kill everything we see. He plays His games, we play ours. To show our appreciation for so much power, we keep heaven packed with fresh souls. God was here before the Marine Corps, so you can give your heart to Jesus, but your ass belongs to the corps."

My three workout partners (and close friends) are Jordanian Sunni (technically one is Kuwaiti, but it's a long story). Two of them have been citizens for some time and one just finished naturalization a few months ago.

There are plenty of Muslims who are very loyal to the US, yet still adhere to many of their traditions.

Lies, there are no muslims in Tennessee!

did they vote for Obama?

most Muslims in the US are african american/black

most arabs/persians/paki's/indians that immigrate to the US are christians or secular muslims who are not religious, they fled their country cause they wanted to get away from that shit. they wanted to live in a secular and free country. 20% of immigrant muslims make over 100K per year. education is very important in south asian culture, so a lot of them get PHD's/master degrees.

I dunno bro, I've seen a lot of mosques loaded with arabs, middle eastern and asians (paki, afghan, etc.). Even the ones that don't go to masjid still say they are muslim by and large. Persians are probably the exception, lol.

in our neck of the woods thats gonna be the case both FL and Cali have a huge asian-muslim population. but go to chicago or NY ... you will find tons of black muslims.

malcom X, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Muhammad Ali, Dave Chappelle etc etc.. there has been a lot of black converts to islam since the 60's. not sure why I am not familiar with the movement too much..

"look at me! I'm not burdened by relationships and social activities!"

That explains why you always want to webcam with me!

But if that's the case, why do you want to do it nekkid?

:worried:

did they vote for Obama?

One hadn't been naturalized at the time.

The other two were cautiously optimistic, but one really hated taxes. In 2009, they hung in there with him because they thought he'd back off support for Israel, pull out of the middle east and end operations (I.e. drones, covert stuff).

Now, I'd say they are disillusioned. They see Obama as higher taxes and spending for sure. But they also see him as more of a lip-service guy who won't really make substantial changes in US policy.

Now don't get me wrong -- they aren't rushing out to vote for perry or Bachmann either. But I don't see them supporting Barry. I'll ask them more when I get back into town.

This show is meant to ease the distaste Americans have for Muslims, but it's not going to work. It's going to back-fire!
I have two very close Muslims friends and they dislike most Muslims. There is an angst within their own.

I have eaten many dinners with many muslims. I love some Arabic and middle eastern cuisine. Yum.

I agree!

Two of the guys' mother makes a dish with lamb and rice wrapped in grape leaves served with yogurt. It's unbelievably good. I have a brain dead palette and even I realize this is great stuff.

They do this thing with hollowed-out yellow squash filled with rice and meat too... It's incredible.

Get them to invite you over to dinner during Ramadan. You will eat like a king.

Oh, I know that drill already. I went over for the fast-breaking four times.

I almost observed Ramadan with them, but I only lasted three full days. If you go to bed around 9:00 and get up at 4:00 during August, it gets really nasty. The sun sets in time to eat, but normally you have to eat a small meal first, let it settle, then eat a more decent-sized meal. I'd eat right after sunset and take a lunesta, which had it's own host of issues (don't ever eat, take a lunesta and go to sleep).

I've done it (fasted during Ramadan) and you get used to it. They make all sorts of allowances though, like if you have a physically demanding job you don't have to fast, or if you are traveling, etc. Basically, if it would be too difficult yo don't have to do it.

As for breaking the fast (Iftar), the way they do it is to eat 3 dates, pray the evening prayer and then feast like kings and queens. lol! So I guess the 3 dates is how they prepare. I could just go straight to a big ass meal though.

That's it -- dates and this really killer pea soup.

We'd have soup and a couple dates right after sunset. The real meal wouldn't come until 9:45 or 10:00. So I'd stay up past my bedtime, eat like a king, then try to take a lunesta. That would shut my GI tract down and then I'd get up at 4:00 feeling like hell (full of undigested foot). I'd finally get it moving... but always right after sunrise. So I'd miss my morning meal.

I may try it again next year, if I can shift my sleep hours to 11:00 pm to 8:00 am and wake-up for a 5:00am snack like they do.

Man I miss that food. You can't get anything like it even in restaurants that serve middle eastern/Arabic food.

I gotta try to get invited to some iftars next Ramadan.
