My mate was quizing me other day regarding not drinking heavily or at all mostly when doing AAS. I gave the standard answers and then realised that I actually don't know the reason why.
This is the case: Alcohol lowers natural testosterone levels, everyone knows this, so when your a natural BB, this is a big deal and will hinder gains dramatically. However, when juicing, and specifically using test, your natural production is minimal and you have plently in the bloodstream anyway from the regular injections, so whats the problem with drinking.
Yes, it stresses the liver, but if your not doing orals and still taking milk thistle (which I do) drinkings doing no more liver damage than what it does to the average joe (possibly less due to liver and anti-oxident supplements).
Yes, its a source of calories, but if you count them and especially if your on a bulking cycle, I still struggle to see the problem.
So what problems is it causing??? I know all the stuff about cardiovascular problems, brain damage etc., but I'm specifically trying to determine why we shouldn't drink while on.
During the discussion with my friend I began thinking that we're probably in a better situation to drink healthily than the average joe due to being fit, lean, anti-oxident supplements and having copious amounts of test in the blood already (so don't need to worry about alcohol decreasing it).
Don't flame me on this!! I'm not wanting to be able to drink (I don't want to have more than a couple every few weekends anyway), I am just confused as to why there is this consensus that drinking is a big no no whilst on.
