Butane more toxic than alky? LOL
Do some research.

This is a bias source, but I have many more sources that say the same things. This is one of the most informative however.
Read a few paragraphs down:
"Unlike drugs, which are not native to the body, 1,4-Butanediol ultimately metabolizes into Carbon Dioxide and water in three to five hours leaving no toxic residue."
If you take 20 mins to read the whole thing, you'll notice that the only side effect it has is when it is mixed with alcohol. So simply don't mix it, and all is well. Trust me, I know many powerlifters, partiers, and bodybuilders that are on the stuff. I even know families that buy it because their anti-depressants don't work nearly as well.
