ALCAR question...Ulter/Macro or Those in the Know

Even using the search function I cant seem to find this.....is it Ok to mix Alcar in OJ just to kill the taste down some or does it lose soem absorbtion that way?

hard to say orange juice is quite acidic, but then again alcar is a HCL.. should be ok

there is no study or data one way or the other...

Acetylating L-carnitine = more acidic than L-Carnitine. Makes it a stronger acidic compound.

Therefore the PH is closer to that of the stomach acids PH, so that more AlCar is able to be absorbed.

Taste it......it tastes very acidic.

L-Carnitine is only absorbed 10-15% orally.

I'd venture AlCar is more like 50%.

The HCL only comes with the inj.AlCar. its the solvent so to speak in the solution. ALCar is the solute. And it stings......quite a bit let me tell you.

500mg/ml 100ml = 50g/L is about as high as you can go in concentration with AlCar before burning your butt cheek badly.

Remember that HCL is a VERY strong acid.

The OJ would make no difference.
