Albuterol during pct

The Guyyy

New member
Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any information regarding the use of beta2 adrenergic receptor agonists (like albuterol or clenbuterol) during pct.

For instance, are there any additional concerns when running albuterol when your hpta is out of balance?

Will the added energy and power from albuterol help with maintaining gains when your test levels are depleted? I've taken albuterol before and the increased energy levels and added power in the gym almost made me feel like I was on a mild prohormone- for some reason my friend who ran it with me didn't get the same intense effect as me, so that could just be me... These benefits are really the reasons that I'm interested in running it during pct.

Note: I'll be running test and var and my friend will be running straight var. We'll both be using clomid for post, and I also have adex and nolva on hand.

Thanks in advance for any input you guys might have!

I don't know if many people see these as "adding power" so much as fat burning. They add as much power as caffeine for me. I'd steer clear high doses of those when your body is in a weakened state and you have low t levels as you will burn muscle easier.

Thanks for your responses.

See, when I ran the albuterol the goal was obviously to lose fat. Instead, I ended up retaining a lot of water (it can mess with your electrolyte balance), not losing much fat, and gaining strength. I understand that I wouldn't want to try and cut hard during pct (since your body needs a lot of nutrients in order to recover when in the post cycle state), but I was asking about using the alb strictly for strength purposes. I am wondering if anyone has any info regarding whether it would still hinder your ability to maintain gains if you weren't trying to cut with it (ie. not taking more than 12mg; not dieting; not doing a lot of cardio; but eating like a horse).

I have read on a few forums/threads that people have experienced the same energy/strength benefits as I have, but it seems like its a minority phenomenon. There are even studies that show that albuterol is anabolic; however, there are also studies (probably more) that show that it isn't.

Based off bro science, I would assume that anything that can keep you putting up heavier weight during pct (heavier weight than you would be putting up doing pct by itself- not heavier than while on) would help you solidify your gains once your hpta bounces back. However, knowing that alb can mess with your endocrine system, I feel as though there is a lot more to the picture that only science can reveal- hence why I'm wary of just going at it.

Energy benefits I can agree with, but strength...I just don't see it. Sounds like a placebo effect but hey, I'm not you so u may be different.

even if you did get a slight increase in intensity, it wouldn't equal the risks of burning muscle according to my broscience.
