I have been taking like 1200-1800 mgs/day of ALA for about 2 weeks now ..... it defintely feels like it has an effect, to me.
I find that I can eat fewer starchy carbs and not get as pissy about it (grrrrr).... it just sesm that my blood sugar is regulated better somehow.
Plus, I am lowering my fat, so that cools.
I would love to find a good layman's explantion of how like this whole glucose, sucrose, insulin (occuring naturally in your body), "insulin sensitivity" and stuff like ALA and insulin supplementation, work.
I would never like "do" insulin per se, but just knopwing how all this works (in a sort of smart-layman's terms) would be very very cool.
Anyone have any pointers?
(Please dont take the thread off track with my requests).
Once again, ALA seems to be very cool, to me at least, for several reasons.
