I did a search and Huck says that 600 mg a day will have feelable effects. This when using it as an insulin mimiker? Spread out in equal dosages?

Yes, spread it out.
I take 200 mg. with my first meal, 400 mg. post workout with dextrose, creatine, and glutamine, followed by a protein shake, 200 mg. with the next meal, and 200 mg. with the next meal. 1 g per day. Great stuff.
