ALA Gingeroot/ Heartburn

I am taking ALA and Gingerroot. It is giving me terrible heartburn especially at night. Since ALA is an acid will taking an antacid interfere with the way that it works???? I am taking both with food so short of an antacid I don't think there is much I can do.

How much water are you drinking with the ALA? Do you experience heartburn with ALA alone, or is it only when you take it in conjunction with ginger root?

Water - I am one of those people who drinks continually, always have a glass next to me. Yes, the ALA was doing it some before the gingerroot but the two together are just brutal.

Are you using powder??

What helps me is to wet my tongue and scoop out the powder andd then dump it on the very back of my tongue and immediately wash down with a full glass of water...

Jesus Corn - you are a real man aren't you! No, I'm doing the caps and I had one that wasn't shut tight - I can't imagine doing the powder!!!!!!
