ALA and stomach problems?

Is it possible for ala to upset or even damage the lining in your stomach. I am prescribed zantac for heartburn and after I take my ala I am dying I have to drink milk or a shake and then eat something to wash it down. I have been taking it a 750mgs 2-3x a day. By the way This is my first post on this board and I have been reading for about a year and a half! I am on my fourth cycle, my stats are 230 , 12% 6'1" , Anyway I feel at home here with my fellow juice heads.

Take a bite of food then take your ala followed by a big drink of water and then continue eating... helps with the heartburn quite a lot.
