Hey all, I am on a very low carb diet right now and I am also taking some ALA. I take 200mg with each meal. That would be around 1200mg a day.
My question is, do I have be taking in carbs for the ALA to work properly?? I am getting around 250p/30c/100f grams per day. Only 10 of the carbs are coming post workout and the rest are spread out throughout the day.
I am 5'10" 170 with about 12-15% BF. Don't know BF for sure but that is how I feel. I have been on this diet for about a month now and am feeling great. My strength is increasing and I see the fat burning off.
Also I have a cold right now that is kicking my ass. Should I get off the diet and eat the recommended cold foods until I am feeling better or just kepp chugging along?
