Al-Gore has done it again

Expose his liberal ass.

"Against the advice of senior advisers, Gore is planning to appear at the historic Beacon Theatre in Manhattan on Thursday to issue an indictment of the Bush administration's "inaction on global warming."

Gore will make the warming case on a day forecasters are predicting the coldest temps in Boston since 1957, with wind chills in parts of New England plunging to 100 degrees below zero"

Who gives two balls, politics is gay!!!

Do you care who is elected President? You're from New England too, you have 3 candidates in the race. They probably have a better chance of winning it all than the Pats.

So what?

The main debate about global warming is the source of the warming, not whether it exists or not. That is followed in importance by the debate about the implications of this fact.

Not true. There is a HUGE debate over whether global warming even exists. The Kyoto Treaty sits collecting dust while the subject is debated (thank God).

It is so typical of Gore to make a speech about global warming on the coldest day there in almost 50 years. You can't make this stuff up!

What if he is right? THen we all may be in big troube some day and U can't say for sure that he's wrong. Many so called experts back the global warming theory.

We'll all be in big trouble if the Kyoto treaty is signed based on Gore's politically motivated rants about global warming. It is bad for the US.

many experts also oppose it. the earth has seen a warming trend even before industrialization. the massive amounts of CO2 we are dumping into the atmosphere no doubt plays a role, but this role has not been effectively quantified.

i do agree that industry should implement clean air policies and cleaner fuel sources should be sought though, if not to combat global warming, then to combat the pollution in the air we breathe.

but it's very irresponsible to go parading around claiming we're causing global warming due to environmentalist minded speculation

Correct. The argument is not whether the earth is warming or cooling, since we can easily record these variables, the argument is what is the cause of such deviations.

The pseudo-science of the radical environmentalists (not all environmentalists are doomsayers) lies in their argument that the cause is man-made. The evidence for this is hair-thin, while much stronger for the ideas of natural cycles, solar activities, etc.

The problem with this form of environmentalism is that they are not simply attempting to understand the issue, but to institute government programs, which will have huge economic repercussions, all before they understand the cause.
