AI's contributing to PIP?

Mr. Chicago

New member
Hey guys, at my test dose 600mg week I usually try to avoid using an AI for as long as possible bc I'm really not gyno prone. Well, last week I had slightly puffy nips so I decided to start dosing arimidex at .5 twice a week. I think I could probably get by at .25 but the thing is I've had much more severe PIP the last 2 shots than I did at the beginning of the cycle without the AI. So the question is do you find your AI contributing to more PIP? Should I bump it down to .25 if it seems to be sufficient? The PIP is nothing out of control or anything but like I said there's definitely a difference with the last 2 shots since I started the AI, any thoughts are greatly appreciated thanks!

Never heard of that. Probably just bad pins

On a side note, I would run an ai from the start. They don't "hinder gains" or whatever broscience you've heard about it. Even when you aren't experiencing gyno, you still have elevated E on aromatizing compounds which is horrible for you. Keep E within a healthy range with your ai and you won't miss out on progress during your cycle and you won't have to worry about elevated E or gyno. Control it, don't demolish it

Thanks bro, yeah you always hear two schools of thought, some say avoid AI's if you can and others say there are benefits to them even if you don't develop any gyno symptoms. I can tell you this just over a week and I can already tell some of the water retention is gone.

that has absolutely nothing to do with your PIP bro... ai's can be your best friend if they are used properly... its the people that overdo them that have the issues...

Thanks Dylan, yeah I figured it wasn't the AI contributing to this PIP I've had as of late, another thing that it could be is that I switched brands of test a few weeks back too, the first shot no PIP but the last two considerably more than normal and in two different spots so I was just trying to figure out what it might be and if anyone else had experienced an incline in PIP due to an AI but I guess that is unfounded. Thanks again guys.

Switching gear can definitely increase PIP if you get some lower quality stuff or a different concentration/blend

That's what it must be, like I said even though the first one was fine the last two have been a little more excruciating haha sitting on a heating pad as we speak. It's definitely nothing to keep me from jumping around and getting shit done but 4 days later and still a little sore on my right side and then the one this morning I'm definitely still feeling just threw me for a loop. I always heard of PIP but until this week I never experienced it. I never have a problem with test E but once I finish off this bottle I'm going to switch it up again.

I dont see the relation with the AI and PIP. Get some ultra sharp B-D Precision Glide pins.

Thanks again for the input guys I just wasn't sure if there was a correlation but I guess not. It's not the pins it's got to be the gear which I'm surprised thought this was a good lab but it's definitely something to do with the blend.

Just wanted to update my thread, I did my 3rd shot of my new test today and after some severe PIP the first 2 it seems to have subsided. I'm not sure if I just needed to get used to the new concentration or the fact that I pushed it in a bit slower, not much, but that may have helped. Another thing I had heard is that if you bleed after a shot you may have nicked a vein and that could contribute to PIP but fact is I've bled the last 3 and only the first 2 hurt so do you think it's just a matter of getting used to the mix, is that even possible especially after only 2 pins? Or would taking an extra 10 seconds to inject really help that much? I've just never suffered from PIP before so this whole situation really bothered me and I wanted to know what it could have been.
