Went to the concert last night at the Palace of Auburn Hills. They fucking rocked the house. Played ALOT of the old shit, from "Get a Grip" and "Big Ones".

About half way through the concert, Kid Rock and Ted Nugent came out and did "Walk this way" with them.

Fucking GREAT show.

I hit a few shows in the past, long before they hit the geriatric stage (no pun intended). I just can't bring myself to go these days and trash the memories. They still kick some ass though.

Kid Rock? WTF is that crap though?

Yeah, I can imagine what they were like about 10-15 years ago. They put on a kick ass show even today though.

Joe Perry was the shit. He had a different guitar for every song that they played. Played it behind the head and all.

Kid Rock and Ted Nuggent came out because they are all home town detroit boys. Aerosmith was actually in town all week hunting on Nuggent's land, then after the show they had a VIP party at Kid Rock's house.

I went to an Aerosmith show earlier this year, and it was HANDS DOWN the best show I've ever been to. It was at a pavilion setup, and they even came out to a mini stage they had set up in the lawn and played a few song (incuding Dream On *a personal fav*) Then to top it all off, the show ended in a huuuge fucking thunder storm!!! Lightning all around, rain soaking us head-to-toe... Ahhh man it was fucking unreal! They just kept on playing too! 2 encores!!! They are truly an epitomy of entertainment.

Oh and... Kid Rock is a piece of trash! I along with many other people from Michigan are ashamed ten fold over. Nuggent's cool, aside from the fact he's a huge bigot... Ehh, details.

I saw areosmith this summer - they were pretty impressive. they and marilyn manson had the best crowd appeal - but different crowds.
green day was also pretty good with them (the crowd - getting them into the show)

Those goof lost me when they appeared on stage at the super bowl with that faggy boy band...............I wanna vomit when I hear them now.
