Advocare supplements???

niner

New member
Does anyone out there know anything about Advocare supplements and how good they are if you are on the gear???

I have heard that they are quite poopy and expensive. They aren't in stores and are sold by indivduals the same way that women sell Mary Kay cosmetics. I have had some dudes try to get me into selling this crap. I wouls avoid.

Good old MLM (multi level marketing)

I don't think that some guy that told a guy that told his brother that told his friend who told his mom who told her friend who told her husband deserves my money when I buy supplements...so I don't buy that bullshit.

yeah, no 'new ingredients" or anything for sure. same old buncha carpola except they got the USA wrestling team to push them so people got all excited for a minute.

I actually used to sell the stuff. It is actually pretty good stuff, but nothing special, and too pricey. The taste of their stuff is good though. I wouldn't recommend it unless you got money to blow.

If anyone starts talking about Advocare, run the other way. This guy is on my damn balls evryday trying to get me to start selling the line. This guy looks like a 140 lb. dweeb.
Sorry, but I had to vent because this damn guy just called!:redhot:

Oh I got that wayyyy beat!!!!

My mom's boyfriend sells the shit and pushed it on me and a friend (and countless others around the counrty) for years. He's a nice guy but doesn't know shit about lifting or nutrition. Every time I visited with my Mom I had to deal with him (I also lived there for 9 months after college - every fucking night nothing but Advocare!!!! Fuck Me!!!!)

My friend was a top level olympic lifter so he finally just leveled with the guy one night and told him that he gets juice from his doctor so the supplements won't do shit. He had to be careful who knew about juice but after 2 years the guy just lost it. My Mom's boyfirend even started bothering the coach at one of the training centers.

The stuff is good and quality but is the same as other good brands. Price wise, they use multi-level marketing since they don't want to pay the retail margins and their products wouldn't be competitive at double the price of everything else if they did elect to go retail. Basically a few people are making a lot of money off some very annoying assholes.

Peace - I needed to vent about that

Obviously some people have been hit pretty hard and are really sore about Advocare, but the company is ethical. NO...I am not trying to sell to anybody, but there are some good people out there that are in it for the heart and actual care of the person, not for the money. Believe me!!! If the person is in it for the money, you will know because they will keep suggesting more and more product until you spend over $200 every two weeks. If you take the system the way it is meant, it will work for you. Not just the Olympic wrestlers take the product either. There are gymnist, swimmers, all types. Even professional drivers take the product. It is good stuff and no you can't buy it at a store. You can't get the same quality that way. They have a lot of top doctors working for them as well. Quality product, if used the right way. Also, if you aren't interested and the person still calls after you have told them no...they are in it for the money as well. They should just back off and go on their way. just my personal oppinion!

My personal experence has been very positive. I lost 20 pounds in about a month on the performance system. My spin teacher at a Crunch Fitness told me and my wife about it. So I tried it. At the start I had just gotten back into working out again after about a 2 year absence. I weighed approx 194 pounds at a height of 5' 10.

My exercise routine was this:

3 to 4 days a week I did a 1 hour spin class. Thats it. No weights, no extra working out.

I dropped to and maintained 170 and currently am maintaining 170, this is after about 2 months of using the products. Yes they are expensive, their products are listed in the PDR and I liked that I could look up all the ingredients and check them out on my own.

FYI I used the following suppliments:

POS 1 (3 tablets)
POS 3 drink only on days I worked out.
MNS Orange daily (one package)
Restore daily (two tablets)
Spark Daily (one teaspoon)

Like many suppliments, your results may vary, and there are many ripoffs out there but I have never used anything that has worked the way these products have. I don't know much about bulk building products that they offer as I am more endurance performance oriented. I just started doing mini-triathalons and have notice great gains in my speed/endurance and metabolism.

While yes, many people who get into the MLM aspect of a product line are annoying, I just wanted something that worked and since it wasn't too hard to become my own distributor (and get a 40% discount in the process) it was a good fit for me. Honestly though there are many items within the suppliments that can be purchased over the counter so you might want to just lookup the ingredients for some of the products and see if you can replace them. Though I would question consistency and potency in some OTC products.

Just my .02

Well i have to say there products are VERY good. Just like with any suppliment ,they dont compare to juice but they do work. they have everything you nee. the protein, creatine, every thing. even things for joints(winny users). plus honestly i have replaced my full time income in about 5 months . im currently making about 4-5000 a month. which is not bad at all. so that said they do work. and they are right. the company is built on ethics. you must be open minded in life or you wont know an opportunity if it hit you in the face

I have to say that the products do kick major arrss!!!

My brother sells the stuff and he is a really good saleman. He likes the money, but on the other hand he wants to see people to change their lifesytle. Plus I get a really good deal on the stuff so it isn't that much more expensive than stuff from the magazines.

I am one of his examples. He loaded me up on it, and I feel great about myself now. I went up on my bench almost 10 pounds on my max a week for 5 weeks. I am still going up just a little slower. My legs have just skyrocketed though!!! So the stuff is very high quality, and the products taste very good--better than any other protien drinks i have taken.

I take:
Core Plex : Multivitamine
Catalyst: Glutamine and other aminos
POS1: like ZMA with more
POS 2: Killer protien drink with creatine and other good
ingrediants
Ripped Fuel Extreme: You know what it does!!!!

So yea, it is a little pricey but the quality is awesome!!!!
