1mg a week isn't going to do anything for you. The minimum would be 200mg a week which was my first cycle, although I kicked it off with 4 weeks of d-Bol and it was for 8 weeks. I imagine this is probably your first, so with proper training and a good diet you should see some gains with a 6 week 200mg of deca. If it's all you got go ahead and do it, I was pretty happy with my results. Very important you get plenty of protien with the deca.
