Advice on my workout routine

Hi first of all im a guy and am 16 and 136 lbs and i dunno about 5'8ish? Hmm according to my scale it says im about 15% bf i dont know how accurate those are though. But I do have a decent amount of fat on my stomach and a tiny bit on my chest. Right now I just got a bowflex motivator 2 to start using. I am already eating better and have lost like 4 lbs in the past week or so. I basically need help with a workout routine

I was thinking for every other day doing:
benchpresses
flys
lat pulldowns gripping towards me and another time away
bicep curls

And then everyday doing situps while using like 40lbs resistance crossing my chest for resistance

My diet so far is pretty good I cut out alot of fats and high calorie stuff and am getting a decent amount of protein. I use to drink lots of protein shakes/smoothies but I just couldnt keep choking that stuff down. So does anyone know some recipe for a good tasting shake.

Thanks for the help and sorry for the long post

Here's a good beginner routine. Plus the advice in the entire thread is great, except for Guiness5.0 and Jenna Jameson ;)

Maybe you can do the Bowflex version of each of these exercises since you don't have free weights. Eventually you should get to a gym, though.

Hey, what is wrong with Jenna? I agree, 16 may be too young try that workout technique, but I bet she could add a new element to my routine.

I have a friend that has been using a bowflex (not sure of the model) for the past year. he lost 30 lbs with working 3x a week and dieting. He looks fantastic, and has been adding some size to his frame using the bowflex. It might take you further than one would think. But the gym will always offer more options as one moves onto intermediate training routines.

as I said in the above post. My friend did more to his body with a bowflex than I would have thought possible. Best of luck, and happy lifting.
