hey guys im looking at changing up my workouts, i just tryed Gardians arm workout (which is amazing btw, defanitly gotta give him props for that) and i was wondering if any of you guys knew any good chest workouts ?

frequency, volume, and load are the only factors you need to worry about when gaining size and strength, the exercises, for the most part, do not matter. stick with multi joint movements!

i know that but i was looking for more of a set of workouts that ppl liked using, just so i have a structured idea of what im going to be doing at the gym and also to save time while im there.

if you want to save time you can use r.o.b. training. 5 x 5 on flat bench with only 30 seconds rest between sets. it will go quick and I promise you won't feel cheated it will hurt. what time range were you looking at?

ill look into that ...i want to keep it within an hour. which is doable by myself but i have a workout buddy now which is still good. when i tried Guardians arm workout we finished in an hour or so and there is like 15 exercises in there :eek2:

how many sets each though?

I do weighted dips twice a week, combined with heavy military once a week and tricep extensions twice a week.

I used to do all this flat BB and incline DB etc etc. All I do now is mainly Flat Db press and Dipzz, and maybe a few sets of inlcine flies after that.
I reckon you dont need incline/decline at all (apart from flies, just so you can see yourself for good form). Just stick to flat where you can handle the MOST weight and go from there, more reps with more weight is gonna make your chest bigger than any incline and decline will.

Ill give you my rough routine (I did this yesterday)that has seen my chest blow up over the last 2 months or so:

Light warm up (20kg) DB presses x12
4x12 (32kg)
1x8 (36kg)
1x6 (38kg)
1x8 (36kg)
Flat BB press 2x8 (80kg[My bench has gone down 20kg over the last month...])
Weighted Dips 4x10 (10kg)
Incline Flies (17.5kg) 3x12

I thought Id put the weight I did to help you get a better idea of how to progresse with reps/weight, it helps alot to get your weight up and get that bigger chest you desire
