Advice for a 53 yr old please

I am 53, and in excellent health. I have an rx for test cyponate 200 because my test count normally falls below 300. I am supposed to take 1cc per week.
I would like to get myself in shape and have a few questions for you. ( Hypothetically of course - I wouldn't want to break any laws!)My goal is to be above average in strength for my age, and be in good enough shape to do the things I like, like water-skiing, etc. I want to build muscle and lose fat - I want to look good and perform well (!) I have regular blood tests, etc.
1) What dose of test should I take to get it to a safe but anabolic effect?
2) What kind of a cycle would you recommend that is going to help me achieve my goals the fastest, while minimizing side effects -(I do not want any female characteristics) to stack with this (increased) amount of test? Deca? Dianabol? What and how much? And what can I expect in how long? Then what about maintenance?
BTW I have lifted on& off most of my life. I am 5'6", 210 prob bodyfat about 22% would like to be around 180,10% bf or less,and muscular. Is this reasonable?
Any advice will be appreciated!
 
I would keep your test at 200 per week for hrt. If you want added boosts, cycle in some deca and dbol for 10 weeks on and 10 weeks off. Run at least 500mg deca and 30mg dbol, but only do the dbol for the first 4 weeks or so. Make sure you learn about nandrolone recovery. May never recover natty test production if you plan on running hrt for the rest of your life.

What do I need to know about nandrolone recovery and where can I learn it?
I assume you mean 500 deca per WEEK and 30 dbol per DAY? What can I expect from a 10 week deca/dbol stack,gain wise? Should my training be any different those 10 weeks?Do you think I should increase the test while using the other 2? What about anti-estrogens? Necessary with this? Are any of the OTC anti-estogens worth it?

Hey, old-timer, I'm 49. Welcome to getting younger.

Has the doctor not mentioned anything about aromatase inhibition? There are two broad categories of anti-oestrogen: SERMs and aromatase inhibitors. The former work to regulate the effects of oestrogen on the body, the latter to reduce the amount of conversion of testosterone to oestrogen. At your dose of 200mg per week, you could be well-served with a small dose of an AI. Take a look around here for threads on AIFM.

Regarding your goals: achieving them will be mostly down to your training and diet. The cyp will help with appetite and nutrient partitioning but you need to get your training and diet back into line before you're going to make the progress you desire. Give your body time to adjust to the changes before diving into higher doses.

One other thing, you might find that you feel better dosing every four days than every week. Adjust the dose accordingly. As blood levels of the testosterone fluctuate, so will your sense of well-being and a weekly schedule, while keeping you always in the 'normal' range, will put you onto something of a hormonal rollercoaster.

Honestly to start with I think that 200mg of Cyp is a good starting point for you. That is a common HRT dose. I do agree with Blunt that you should shoot every 4 days as opposed to every week. So your actually dose will be a little more than 200mg per week. I have run 400mg cyp a week by itself and made solid gains in a 10 week period. Are you considering staying on forever? That is something that you need to ask yourself and consult with your doctor about. If you are looking to lean up might consider stacking in some winny or anavar, for approx 6 weeks.
 
49 and 53 I give you guys props for haveing determanation to keep it going I'm only 26 but hope when Im in my 40's and 50's I have the determanation you guys do to stay fit and healthy

Your 200mg per week is simply HRT,


At 5’6 you will need to drop to about 165 to be moderately thin, or average.

Unless you are very muscular, what is your Waist, Chest and BF%?



I would recommend diet, cardio, and clen.


When you reach your weight and size goals,



Your first cycle should simply be

Deca 500mg per week 12 weeks
Test E 500mg per week 12 weeks


This is simply one shot or two shots once a week

Anti E and PCT

Why would he attempt pct if he's staying on hrt?
 
im 47. lots of different opinions sure. i don't really favor 10-12 week cycling at our age. more like 10-12 months LOL. you just want an aggresive hrt. deca is too risky. it can KILL the sex drive and we don't want that now do we? sure it works but you don't need to get huge just back in shape. and we don't want bitch tits either! or high BP. so avoid the dbol. stick with T, primo, eq, and an anti-estrogen, all in very modest dosages in intervals of 2-4 months. establish a baseline program using T and the anti-estrogen. then rotate the others. totals should be less than 1gram per week, probably closer to 5-600mg. as for orals you may want to get ahold of some proviron. it will greatly increase the effectiveness of your T cycles and allow you to feel more benefits from a low dose of T. when you start to get close to 175 or so you can run anavar for 10-12 weeks once/year, combined with a strict diet, to really harden up for the beach during the peak season.
