If I wanted to edit a flash web site would I be pulling my teeth out to figureout the program or is it something one might catch one if they had a basic idea how most photo/dreamweaver programs work?
Girl... you are all around the program world lately. I was dabbling with it not to long ago, just playing around. It doesn't seem all that hard to figure out, just like most adobe software, really good help menu if you run into questions. Is this a valid purchase with a book and all? If not, I would opt to get one purchased for convience and reference.
busy hands and a busy brain are happy hands and a happy brain. I am constantly doing something wayout there to learn more. Hell... I'm even about to start learning to weld here shortly, just to learn more about the work I do and it will benifit me with my tolerances when I'm doing drawings and help me understand the other part of what I do.
This company I am talking to now ... If indeed I decide to take this job... wants me to help revamp their website, their sales brochure, organize their 3D files and software, and do some minor IT work... in conjunction with the Sales position I am actually being hired for. Nothing right now on if/or/if not I will take it. I've nothing to lose ... only to gain. I met with 4 partners for lunch and basically it was a 4 on 1... pound Frisky with questions session. But I was really cool with it. I stated clearly upfront and honest that I didn't go seeking this sales position, but one of the partners came seeking me, I will be my self and be honest and if who I am is not suited for their company then no hard feelings. I currently have a full time job and its very secure... I'd love to work for their company, and feel I could be a great benifit to them, but its not make or break for me.
Flash isn't difficult to learn but i DESPISE flash websites!! Just because most of them are terribly done.
There should bee a ton of tutorials on the web, so you can search for specific instructions.
geesh I don't know. I had to rely on my son to d/l my music on to my ipod...lol
I couldn't figure it out for shit....though I have no patience either to deal with things like this.
you would need the flash source file to edit anything
flash can be somewhat simple or extremely complex...in one aspect it's like a typical motion graphics (video) program like after effects or premier, on top of that it also has it's own object oriented scripting language.....the learning curve is rather high.
