Why are we having such a hard time starting threads? I continually get this:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/EliteFitness/www/forum/includes/functions_search.php on line 265

WTF is going on? Please fix it.

Something about homoblocker 2005...

I get that problem too and i have always wondered why, somtimes it forever for it to go through then come back with a timeout message

if your thread is as worthless as this one that could explain the error

I've been getting that message too. Just ask Lestat to post it for you on another thread. Works great, he's always on here and wants the post count.

funny.. digger never misses a beat when someone posts a karma thread or the like...

but the site was down last night for a while and now its near impossible to start new threads..

priorities.

LOLOLOL!

I think it has something to do with the length of the thread and/or title.

I get the time out message too, but if I then change the title to something like "....", and another . or two for the body, it goes through. I then edit the title and paste the body from the original thread I was trying to post.

they should jsut fix things

ive often thought it had to do with punctuation in the title

they should definately fix it, but coming from a software tester background, it's just natural for me to try to figure out work arounds for software problems.

I'd also like to add on the problem with plat members having to re-log on when attempting to view member galleries.
