I don't know if you keep a record of the IP address everytime someone logs on, but if you do can you tell me what my history is?

I am with BT openworld and occasionally freeserve over the past 6 months, any other IP address used to access this account is not mine.

I am so pissed off. As much as I love Elite, this 'person' is wrecking my rep and pissing off a lot of people who I am friends or who have known a long time.

I almost feel like asking to be banned coz of this shit coz I don't know where it will end. It is not a light decision, I've been here from the beginning and I really want to stay, but I don't know what to do.

I sense that some people are suspicious 'coz he got my pswd twice, and I had something to do with it.

Me and May used to be good friends and that is it. When he hacked my mod password that was it.

It seems now he's on a personal crusade to fuck up my friendships with people I've known for a long time.

I don't know what to do. I have decided to complain to his ISP.

EFsam, would you mind if I posted this info(his ISP, IP address etc) so anyone that feels the same can add their weight.

He has to be stopped, I don't want nearly 7 years of good times finishing just because he's smart with computers.

VBulletin used to have a few bugs were you could grab the password hash from a users cookie. You could give them a link (well it was actually an IMG tag in a PM) and then it would execute JavaScript and then you could redirect that value out to a dynamic page and save out the username/hash value.

If I recall correctly, VBulletin would take that hash as is if it was in a cookie - or you could brute force it and then try to log in normally and get it to set the cookie for you.

I think in even older versions, you could get pass it into the variable via the GET.

I've been too busy with my court dates and trying to get a deal with those bitches over at Target to look too much lately.

If May1010 had physical access to your machine, then there are other easier ways of it as well.

He's already boosted that he has at least half of the mods pswds(circa 2002), by installing a trojan. AND this trojan WAS still active then. All the mods took action...... me to- the only weak point was when I got my new notebook and reconfigured it, it still had May on my buddy list.

How else do you think it could of happened then?

Sounds like it was a file uploaded over an instant messenger. It was a keyboard logger and then sent it outside and to him.

That isn't hacking, that is script kiddie stuff.

You could fix it by monitoring what leaves your system with a firewall (hardware or software, your call).

Also, you could get any number of programs that will tell you if you have a keystroke logger on your system (if it is software).

That said, I think you should enjoy the pretty sunset and mabye have some wine.
