adjustable dumbells

whats the name of those dumbells they advertise in the mags...you can adjust the weight by clicking something or other. does anyone have experience with these...good/bad, yay/nay?

i think ur talkin about the power block dbs, (which i have). they are good for a home gym, the heaviest which is 125 costs about 900, they may be cheaper now. i have the 125's, a real space saver. if u cant work out at a gym id buy them along with a nice rack. youll be set then.

if u go to a gym, dont buy them, its a waste of money, trust me, i dont use them

They're great, I use them all the time at work. It's like having a rack of dumbells except its just 2 dumbells.

I also have a set...think I paid about 5 Benjamins...for the 5-90 Lexan set...

You can also go Lexan (like the stuff Nalgen bottles are made from) or aluminum...

They save a ton of space and IMHO are worth it...
