Its pretty difficult to get ahold of in the states. You might want to consider Aflutop, it is a popular substitute in some of the European countries and is available through many of the aas suppliers for a pretty cheap price. Most that have used the Aflutop report great success with it.

Aflutop is very easy to obtain and it is very inexpensive like missionpossible said. Work's good to.

i have some adequan left over i bought about two years ago....it was very easy to get then...supposed to rebuild cartiledge i believe....i was going to use it to help some joint problems but never did

Ive seen alot about aflutop lately on other boards, what exactly is it??

i have used it and it is effective .. although the shots are on the painful side .. i have some left over cause i could not take the pain ... but it worked ... inject IM .. squeeze it in slowly ... about 1 shot/wk as i recall ... benefits the cartilage and acts as an anti-inflammatory

How painful could it be? How many days and how many mg? They say horses should take 2mg/lb.

I havent tried the Aflutop yet, but its supposed to be painless, unlike the Adequan.Also the Aflutop is specifically made for human use, again, not Adequan. You can go to the mfg website for more info: www.biotehnos.com/aflutopE.htm
