Acne

What do you guys use to stop the acne since I start my dbol/test/deca cycle Im breaking out really bad on my chest, neck, back.

If you can deal with some serious sides, then accutane will definitely clear it up. I don't recommend it though, but I'm sure someone on here will. I know a lot about acne, and acne treatments, but have little experience in combination with steroid use. Accutane is liver toxic, and your liver is probably already struggling from the dbol. I'd do a liver cleanse, then take liver aid and probiotics. If you can stand garlic, eat a couple cloves every night before you go to bed as it is a strong natural general antibiotic. If you can afford it try laser; that, along with a few other things (some of which I already mentioned) helped me get rid of all of my acne everywhere. Even now that I've started juicing, I'm still clear as a bell.

try tanning, showering more often and OTC stuff for acne. if it doesn't work , then go see a dermatologist and they should help correct the problem. It will probably cleer up in the month or two after your cycle.

i'm busting out with the backne pretty bad. I'm on my 13th week. I've been breaking out since week 8. I don't mind it so bad, cuz i don't take my shirt off, but there's nothing you can really do until you get off unless you take the acutane. lotion will make it worse. Tanning dry will help also - it worked great for me on the first cycle.

accuatane doesnt seem to be helping me right now...im pct ..taking 100mg a day
i had taken it before and it worked great...

Accutane is not a short-term solution. You can't just take it for a week or two when you break out. It takes time to work, and most treatments last several months.

unfortunately i only have 2 months left...i have been on it since nov...my doc says
he had one case where he the patient cleared up after treatment stopped....i still have hope

How good is that "Evolution X"? I too just started getting acne on my chest/neck/rear delts, starting week 8 of 600mgs EQ, 40mgs Var, 50mgs Proviron. I've tried Retin A, garlic and other OTC acne creams.

Talking about accutane? Your doctor should keep you on it until your skin cleared up. Otherwise there is no purpose to the treatment. Even if it takes a couple of months longer, it would be absolutely stupid for your doctor to stop.

my dr. was trained by some other dr who is "the 2nd leading authority" on acne...
he believes in reaching a set amount of mg than stopping......i think the number
is 15,000 mg of accutane......no biggie..ill just go to the next derm. on the list

Same happened to me. It works less each time, like you build a tolerance or something. It got to the point where the sides got worse, and the treatment less and less effective. Scared the shit out of me cause I knew nothing else worked that well. Luckily laser cleared it right up.

Call around to some skin centers who specialize in lasers and dermabrasion and chemical peels. Most regular dermatologists don't have the lasers because they are too expensive to buy. Usually if they have laser hair removal and stuff like that, they'll have the acne lasers too. IPL/levulan (photo rejuvination) works too. A lot of places have both. Don't be blown away at some of the prices. Some charge a fortune, but if you call around, you can usually find a decent deal. Kinda spendy, but so is accutane.

All I can say is be careful. I have colitis and I am almost 100% sure its due to using anti-biotics for my skin. I wasn't using pro-biotics at the time to replenish my depleted good bacteria levels. That shit doesn't care if its good or bad bacteria, it kills all of it. Colitis is a chronic disease, it can always come back. I would strongly reccomend other alternatives. I went from 240 to 213 when it hit me. That shit is serious.

How long were you on the antibiotics for?

I won't take antibiotics anymore either. I started developing other conditions like excema after a while. Take some probiotics, they help if the acne is caused my a yeast infection or any kind of unbalanced bacteria/yeast production. If you've taken lots of antibiotics in the past, this could very well be the case. The probiotics cleared up the new conditions, and helped with my acne too.

I totally agree! The problem is that when I was taking them heavily off and on I wasn't as educated as I am now and it's too late. Pro-biotics are definitely overlooked, cause they aren't sexy and don't exactly portray an image of massive muscles.

Probiotics actually help you digest more food too, helping protein synthesis and muscle gains.

Ya that's what probiotics are. Get a blend with bifidus and other bacteria in it, as well as acidophilus. Make sure it has at least a billion live cultures. look for brands that that have FOS, as that helps the bacteria live past your stomach acids.

Everybody with acne should check this out. Click on the first recipe (its just like the one I did). You don't have to do the zap thing. You don't even have to fast. Just add lots of greens and organic apple juice to your diet about 3 days before the cleanse. I did it and got stones out. I definitely recomment this, as it gave me tons of energy, and helped my skin tons, also got rid of ALL my alergies too.

I had been on and off of them for about 6 years. My use was fairly sporadic, it would clear up and I would stop using it. Then it would come back, and I would jump on something else. I would definitely be very careful about using them, I would definitely use pro-biotics at the same time if you choose to use them.
