sorry guys, im sure this has been answered...unfortunatly the search feature is for plats only...
but once accutane is started how long before you start to see the bacne clear up?

Ive been able to find how long it lasts...ive read that even 5 months use can clear up acne forever...im sure its not that great...
but the info I am really looking for is how long once i start until it clears me up?

that is hard to answer, since everyone is different, it depends how severe the acne is also.

I took accutane before I ever took any juice 11 years ago and it cleared my acne up for 8 years. I started taking juice 6 years ago and never had a problem till the last two years. I have a little on my back, face and shoulders. I am on accutance again and my body is drying out but I am still getting zits pooping up hear and there. I was on 40mg for 1 month,. 60mg for 1 month and now 80mg for 1 month. It got better the first months, no progress the second month and very little progress this month. I think you are suppose to go 80mg for 5 months straight but my doctor is being conservative so I had to build my does up. My buddy took 80mg for 5 months and was real happy with the results. His started to clear up after just one month. But most of the time the first few months it gets worse before it gets better.

I got deprsssed a little at the begining but it went away. I do take Paxil regularly though.

the only side effect I got was dry lips and other areas. The depression side effect is overstated. And if you're on test while taking it I highly doubt you'll get depressed, you'll still be a cocky motherfucker.

Same here bro. I'm in my 5th month(currently on 80mg/day) and haven't noticed shit except the dry lips and skin. I think the depression thing is BS. It may intensify a pre-existing problem but not start one. I think the worst thing about accutane is that fucked up I-pledge system you have to go through to get it.
