Why the hell is it, if you decrease cardio or just increase cals by a minimum, the abs fade in the evening??? You could be 7-8% and look tight in the am, but the evening rolls arounds, after eating training, etc., they are faded hard......sucks!

abs are critical to diet and training.
 
really has nothing to do with diet....I could be cutting, and the same thing will happen just from eating 6 meals a day, and drinking a ton!

A quick test to see if you are holding water is to press against your skin. When you remove your hand it will leave a hand print like you get when you have a sunburn!
 
its definitely the water, thats why on contest day you can only sip, any more and things get blurry

when muscle glycogen is full, that 'ripped' look is gone.
