Abs question

I'm a newbie here but a regular on some other boards. I have a question about abdominal muscles. I am a police officer and need to build up my abs and burn the fat around them, right now I have a test comming up in a week that I need to do 37 setups in 1min. Currently I am doing 28 wiht out a problem but i'm crapping out at 28??? I need to get that last few any ideas to help me get that last few? I am doing setups in the morning adn night to maybe help me on that part of the test. Any ideas on not burning out so early?
 
Stop training your abs so frequently,you may be overtraining them.Adding in some creatine might help you sustain ATP a little longer to get those few extra reps.I always add extra reps on my lifts when I start creatine and slow down the rate at which I reach failure.
