I would say diet is 100% but you have to actually have muscle if you want to show the muscles.

I agree 100%. I only do direct ab work once a week to 10 days or so. At 13% bodyfat I'm seeing much of my abs and it seems a waste of energy to spend anymore time than that training them. I just concentrate on strength work when I work them...not high reps...to keep my core balanced and strong.
 
i would put diet 1st but training higer then 5% .. pro diet 70% and training 30%
 
Diet + cardio + training = abs
 
for me.................diet and training. i hate cardio and refuse to do it :)
 
Diet, diet, diet, abs benefit from most compound moves. But you just need to watch the final few episodes of Survivor :lmao: You know those people aren't working out, they're eating a very low calorie, low carb diet, and almost every one of them has abs by the end, unless they started out really heavy.
