When CC was going out of biz, I bought a couple because they were dirt cheap at 70-90% off. I liked the fact that they were powered by the USB port and that eliminated the need to have another fucking cord around for the external power supply.
The one I am currently using (only one out of the box) I have done about 10 back ups on it. Each time I open it, delete the last back up, and back up a more recent version. About 40 gigs each.
This one fucking died. Are they all this crappy? (I got the Toshiba brand if that helps). Reminds me of the CF cards for SDLR cameras when they first came out. A lot of people had their cards to crash and get the ERR 99 message which meant "You're fucked".
