Abercrombie & Fitch (Northern NJ) Seeks Young Professionals

Well fuck me...where do I sign up to get in on this action. I may not have smarts good enough to work there because I'm a degre-less sumbitch, but I am totally good at telling the difference between chinos and pants that aren't chinos, like shorts. I'm like, rad at it. This one time, I was in a BR trying on a new pair of light gray chinos to go with the light blue turtleneck I wanted to wear out that night, and I got into a fight with a mannequin over who had bigger quads. Bitch wouldn't stop staring at me. The manager had to come over and break the two of us up before either of our hair got messed up and then we would've had to be rushed to the Toni and Guy next door for gel reapplication. I think I'm blacklisted at all BRs now, but that's ok because JCrew is way better and has nicer chinos.

Bitch, you absolutely crazy. Add AF to the list of stores you have been banned from. First was the Gap, because you hogged the 3 way mirror for over an hour while trying on 47 pair of khakis, all while asking the other customers "does this pair make my ass look big?"

Man, you got this shit down hard. You should really write a book.

I am exactly 22...22 and 6 months to be exact. I buy most of my clothes at macy's anyway...I've been starting to care less about how people judge me on if i wear high priced designer clothes or not...I dont like superficial people.

it's not for other people. It's for you Victus.

Put on a silk/linen combo shirt along with extra fine wool pants, (check the hand of the fabric) and Santoni shoes, and you'll wonder how you ever wore anything else. ahhhhh.....

I would love to... but i'm not old enough :)

I always shop from A&F and they always ask me if i want a job... but i can't because i'm not 18! :(

A lot of young graduates will probably use that opportunity to get some expierence and then move on to a company that sells the market price for their work.
What is this "good-looking" about? Does this company need models or managers?

Abercrombie hires the vast majority of their models from managers and brand reps from all the stores. If you're looking at Abercrombie marketing, it's a good chance that hot looking chick or dude was once ringing you or some other lucky fool at some point and time.

Yeah.....when you see words like "enthusiastic," "motivated," "high energy," and "dedication" that means that those things have to make up for the fact that you will be making zilch.

The teenage poontang angle is rather appealing though....er...rather WOULD be for someone so inclined. ahem.

This job is simply one of the most rewarding occupations i've ever had. The staff is absolutely the most awesome people I have ever had the privelage to work with and the job, itself is more fun, than labor.

I am compensated nicely and promotions are very swift and extremely generous after surpassing normal Manager status. The two bosses who trained me worked for the company for less than two years, and got promoted several times and are now making nearly 6 figures, drive a company jeep, free gas, and cell phone. Not bad in my book.

Both of these dedicated and talented individuals are under 25 years of age.

what a FANTASTIC, AWESOME career oppertunity for empty headed, terminally thin pretty boy slackers who made it through college with a 2.0 average in their basket weaving major!!!!!!!

who i hell would WANT to live in joisey??????????

This state is extremely crowded---There's a reason for it. I work damn hard for my money and I am very intelligent. Our managers have degrees in biology, english lit, business, and various other majors. Most could be working various other jobs with greater starting salaries, but this job is just too rewarding to leave.

How many people can honestly say they love their jobs? Don't knock it till you try it. Abercrombie has the rare ability to retain their managers as opposed to the rest of the industry where managers are very nomadic, leaving jobs in search of an extra dollar an hour at other companies.

So what exit are you off of? :D

Exit 160 off of the North bound side of the Garden State Parkway. At the traffic light, follow the road straight into the Garden State Plaza Mall. We're located on the main floor between JC Penny and Macy's.

I agree...Most of the stuff is overpriced and just ugly..Bananna Republic is a much nicer store.

We're the ONLY major corporation that is making money this year. Banana is a different category. We are casual. Banana is more preppy formal.

Saks is lackluster and boring. How many of your co-workers do you consider a close friend? We're very tight knit.

Why is everyone so negative? I'm just offering an opportunity for someone to join a team of motivated young people for an interesting occupation.
