Abcess or not!!!????

Okay i did an injection the other day (wednesday) and i noticed that there is a lump where i injected. there is no pain at all but is a little warm. is this the start of an Abcess or am i just paranoid. i have been massaging it here and there. Also i am supposed to inject again today and i only use my right glute for injections...should i just try using a differnt spot on my right glute.

You're fine. Just use a different spot. You should always rotate injection sites.

It kind of depends on what you shot. Prop and Suspension have (relatively) larger particles and may be more evident for a while.

I have had two abcesses before. One was from a shot of test and the other(believe it or not) was from a tiny little pimple on my leg that I popped. It was so small that I could barely see it, but I popped it, and 48hrs later I thought I was going to lose a chunk of my leg. I learned a very valuable lesson, ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE TOUCHING ANY OPEN CUT OR PIMPLE. If that thing had been on my face, holy shit, I wouldn't have been able to leave the house. My leg turned black, purple, and yellow. I develped cellulitis from the pimple I popped.

I'm damn lucky it didn't leave much of a scar,(looks like a cigarrette burn). Anyway, it is probably the propionate. I used to get big red lumps that lasted for a couple of days when I used Test 400(crap). A good way to tell if it is infected is to draw a line around the red mark with an ink pen, and if the redness spreads beyond the line, then you should go to the doctor. Also, most of the time you will develop red streaks that originate from the main area of redness, that is also a bad sign. Of course you already know that the red area will feel warm to the touch when compared to the rest of your body.

If its not even red, then I wouldn't sweat it.

I wouldnt worry about it mate, just do your next jab in the left glute for now.
