Bro's help a guy out who hates doing crunches....paon on my lower back is terrible.

Those machines that send electric impulses to your abs to work them out...they work or what? What's the low down.

try strenghtening your lower back muscles. (the erectors). IT will help support your spine while doing sit ups

That's why sit ups aren't the best thing for the abs, they work the back muscle too.

I like to do some cable crunches and some regular old crunches for the abs.

By the way I have the abtronic on right now, I regret buying it though. One of the batteries died in the first week and I am still not convinced it works, but I am gonna give it some time. :(

Hmm let us know how that goes. are there different levels of power you can set that thing on or what , because if so I would turn it up all the way.

It depends where ur physique is at. If you are fairly lean(6-9%) and you can see your abs, these devices are a great way to supplement a workout.

I agree /w most of these guys here. You should correct the root of the problem, which is ur lower back. Focus rehabilating ur lower back through the use of a gymnastic ball or seek professional help.

Using the ball will offer u best ROM when done properly. Try doing weighted crunches and leg raises using one.

I've got a back that gets sore when I train abs, so upon the advice of a bro I started using one of those ab wheels. It works great and hasn't hurt my back at all. It's dirt cheap too. You could probably use a training wheel from a kids bike and have the same effect. As for the battery powered ab bullshit...come on now.
