AAS which are DHT derivatives

This may be a stupid question, but I am seeing some AAS to be DHT derivatives. Does this mean that it converts to DHT? Isn't DHT responsible for hair loss? If I am right, what would one use to counteract DHT while on a cycle of an AAS which is considered a DHT derivative? Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

DHT derivitaves doesn't mean they can convert to DHT.
Ex/ var, primo, winstrol, etc are all dht derivatives but don't convert to DHT. even thoughthey're low androgenic, some people still get hair loss from winstrol and primo, but that's probably because it's a derivative of dht. If you lose your hair on one of those just stop taking it, there's nothing you can do.

Is there anything someone can take while doing a cycle of a DHT derivative or an AAS which converts to DHT to prevent hair loss, like say finasteride? Any other options? I'm really trying to get information on what ancillaries to use when doing an AAS cycle. Haven't figured out which one I want to try, but just asking questions to find out.

You can take Finaseride(5mg/ed) if you take AAS which convert to DHT to prevent hairloss but won't do shit if the compound is already a DHT derivative.

This is not a stupid question...
^^^^ bumping for ya bro

ya it's a good question, finasteride at 5mgED will help stop the conversion as to dht. There are also shampoos out there that people have success with but I can't remember the name off hand.

Anyone have an positive experiences with Nizoral doing anything to slow or stop hairloss while using DHT derivatives?

ketoconazol (nizoral) is not only a anti-fungal, but also an anti-androgen which prevents binding of DHT to the folicle, different from a 5-AR product which stops DHT from being made in the first place. Nioxin is said to clean excess DHT from the folicle. I have not seen any effect from either of these...ive been off juice for a good 3 weeks and still recovering, but i have TE and since it is not caused by DHT, products will have no effect. Look for a characteristic white bulb on the end of the hair, this is common for TE. Also, rapid acute shedding is most likely not MPB (it is more long term shrinking of the folicle causing thinner hair and eventually folicle closure and no regrowth).
