AAS and the Ancillaries

Testosterone (or any derivatives) aromatizes to Estradiol and its derivatives. To prevent this during a cycle, you use Aromasin, Femara, or Arimidex (an aromatase inhibitor). Those with very low BF% can get away with Nolvadex. Testosterone also converts to DHT. To reduce its effects, one would use Proscar.

DECA, FINA/TREN (or any or the derivatives), and Anadrol cause increases in Prolactin and Progesterone levels. To prevent this during a cycle, you use Dostinex or Winstrol. Dostinex directly lowers Prolactin levels, and Winstrol blocks the effects of Progesterone.

Oxandrin doesn't aromatize nor does it affect Prolactin/Progesterone levels.

I see a large number of athletes using the wrong ancillaries with their chosen AAS. Before you buy your gear, be sure to think through all the steps, actions and reactions. It isn't hard, but it has to be planned. Not that ancillaries will hurt you, but they are costly and there is no sense in wasting them.

Solid post Doc.! One should definitely get their ancillaries ready prior to their cycle as they can prevent gyno from appearing.

Doc, any advantages of taking Dostinex in a non-Prolactin cycle?

I just read somewhere anadrol does not cause increase in prolactin levels, so the ancillaries listed for test would work for anadrol. Think it was in Muscular Development.

Nice post for the new guys. From my personal experience, I have found Dostinex to work wonders while using tren. Winstrol was not sufficient for me to alleviate gyno symptoms. Also, could we use Bromo as an ancillary while on deca/tren/drol?
