AAS and Constipation

Is constipation a side effect of taking steroids? It seems everytime I go on I have it, and now that I am on Tren it's really bad. I never had hemmerhoids before but now I do. I increased protein intake, but I've also increased my vegetable intake and take Citrusel daily. None seem to work.

There is nothing worse than having hemmerhoids, constipation, and swamp ass in the gym sweating your ass off on Tren.

Sorry, never heard of that as a side. My guess would be the increase in protein. You need to get plenty of fiber in your diet. As well, make sure you're getting soluble fiber not just insoluble. I know oatmeal is a good source of it. Try eating black or pinto beans. Also, you need to really tank the water.

Whats your water intake like?

I have a 20oz bottle sitting here at work, and I fill it up every hour.

I am thinking that maybe I should increase my carb intake, everything I eat is either very low carb or no carbs at all.

Yesterdays meal:

7:00am 1 carton of papetti egg whites, 6 slices of Turkey Bacon.

9:30: Protein Bar

12:00 Chicken Caesar Salad, Sweet potato, and protein shake

2:00 3 low carb wraps with tuna, lettuce, and tomato

5:30 Preworkout snack Protein bar

6:30 Protein Shake

8:00 2 chiucken breats and mixed veggies

Tren ace is the only AAS that has ever given me constipation no what the diet. Even with metamucel, gallons of water and the occasional dose of x-lax it is a problem for me. But, I love the results, so I put up with the sides.

thing tha make it worse:

1 increase workout intensity can cause stress there.
2 increase protien intake
3 decrease fiber intake relative to protein intake
4 not being rested

good rule of thumb is to have one huge salad a day, this will help more then you know

try taking docusate calcium to draw water into your colon so stools are easier passed. Basically the product is called stool softener. There is some information that stool softener may help in digesting proteins as well

Thx bro, I'll check it out.
