AAS and BAD TEMPER?

Steroids do not cause uncontrollable rage, or 'roid rage'. I've never had it, and if you're too much of a dipshit to handle yourself, dont use them. Very simple.

i believe that AAS does cause agressiveness but not directly. while onn AAS people get stronger and bigger so they tend to act tougher. not because of the added test but because their confidence gets a boost.

I would say AAS makes you a little more assertive and confident and thus perhaps a little more agressive. As for simply wigging out and going into a rage, those that do it while on juice, IMHO, are simply unstable to begin with. If your a normal, sane, mentally stable individual then you shouldnt have any problems with AAS at all. I had a couple friends who when I first started didnt know I was using, then after a couple cycles when they learned they commented they were keeping an eye on me for "strange" behavior etc and they couldnt tell I was on at all.

On a side note, anger a lot of times is a sign of depression and depression can be caused by many things, even the healthiest and happiest people can actually be depressed. If your not in a healthy state of mind I would say avoid AAS, alcohol or anything else for that matter and get help for your depression first. For some simple counseling helps, others reading books on depression and simply addmitting you are depressed can help a lot and then some need antidepressants and most of those are fairly hard on the liver so I definatly wouldnt be using AAS while taking them.

yeah, i am unstable to begin with. :D i don't think AAS necessarily brings it on more. i was taking benadryl (mega dose), methylprednisone, 1-AD, EC, and a few other things last year...and that was the first time i couldn't control myself for shit. not sure why. i was off the hook, and it wasn't how i usually was....people noticed the change. but the steroids do make me a bit more aggressive. like the other day some guy cut me off (didn't know i found out later), so i cut him off....then he just HAD to flip me off going by. so i chased him....and his cocksucker friend in the passenger seat is flipping me off like there is no tommorow....and i'm like "pull over"....of course he keeps fucking with me and the other guy won't pull over. so i chase them down where they live and get out and go over to the passenger side to throw a punch in at the guy.........and he slides down in the seat for an evasive manuever and i miss, but i grab his ankle that is now sticking out the window and proceed to bash it against the car. lol. so his friend jumps out and i turn attention to him, but he is just wanting to end the shit. so it cools down after an argument and i leave. but i was on anavar i think :D :D so i doubt it was the roids making me rage. lol. i prolly would have went off anyway.

Like so many issues regarding chemical use, I am convinced that this is a very personal topic. Everyone has their own body chemistry and personality. I am ordinarily a very positive and fun person, very outgoing and party-oriented, so much so that people comment on it. On gear, (just statrted another cycle of d-bol, test., and deca a few days ago) my mood definitely becomes darker and more somber, and my temper is definitely shorter, and I find myself very aggressive, almost "looking for a fight" at times.

It is true that you must learn to control this, and for me, that means in particular those "snap--responses" to stupid unimportant things. Warbird's story cracked me up, for that is one of the things that pisses me off the most, when someone screws up in traffic, all their fault, and then they flip you off. It's really hard to let that go, but let's face it, it's really not worth getting riled about, and have some dude pull a gun out and blow you away, is it!?

THERE'S NO DOUBT that manipulating your hormones to such a great degree can cause mood changes! But the stupid phrase "roid-rage" is just some idiot journalist's name coined in the 80's to make it seem very sinister and dangerous, and thus all the stupid bullshit regulations we have to deal with courtesy of the gov't trying to tell us what we can and can't put into our bodies.

I don't know if it's the added stress of trying to get this gym idea off the ground plus being on cycle or what, but I am definitely more agitated on fina than I was on test. I mean someone screamed something out their window the other day and I kept thinking about turning around hitting the peddle flying over one of those huge speed bumps they have in neighborhoods and promptly landing on the car in question. Then jumping out and beating the person senseless with my bat. But hey I didn't act upon it. It's the thought that counts

:elephant:

My 2 cents....

As AAS tends to enhance your base personality, try being a nice guy.

If I'm in a foul mood, AAS only made me more irritable. However, if I listened to music that put me in a good mood and worked to keep a positive attitude, when someone ticked me off when I was on AAS, I actually just laughed it off even if I was irritated.

It all goes down to self-control and state-of-mind.

There is no such thing as "roid rage." (medically proven fact)

Basically if you cannot control yourself on AAS, you shoudl use that extra agression to kill yourself, because you are truly an idiot.

I don't know if it's medically proven fact since I find my temper a little shorter during a cycle but I agree 100% with you. I have my temper under controle on or off. Not always easy but if you can't control it your a loser.
