AAHHHH!! what is the best canadian city to live in?

we are looking at moving soon to montreal
but we dont know french really and ... well.. nevermind

i was just curious what the opinion is now about other canadian cities such as toronto, vancouver, ottowa

keep in mind, i'm just an ignorant little texan with very little knowledge of canada, so go easy on me

convince me to move somewhere! we have to leave the US.

I am a Texan married to a Canadian. When I retire from the military we are considering moving to Barrie, ON. We like the fact that it is pretty close to Toronto, yet small-townish and closer to my wife's hometown of North Bay.

The correct answer would be NONE. There are no cities in Canada worthy to live in... that's why they are in Canada. :)

Not the one I live in!

Check out Calgary, tech jobs are big time there.

I don't like Toronto or Vancouver but that is just me.

Calgary is a young city and has one of the best economy's int he country. Not to mention taxes are one of the lowest if not the lowest in Canada. No sales tax either!

If I don't move to the U.S, Calgary would be my choice as I am in the tech sector as well.

My two cents.

Feel free to ask any questions if you like.

Citrusfruit=Jackass :)
Toronto is a good place to live, as far as schooling goes, but, the cost of living here is high.
If you move to Toronto, keep in mind I can cook and will gladly have you over for dinner once in a while :)
I can bake too.
