I think, as part of joining the group, that all new members should pass an open-book test on protocol and procedure when using the board. My stockbroker requires this to open an account with them. Email all prospective members an official copy of the Policies and Procedures of the elitefitness.com board. Then require them to pass a test before allowing posting.

I've always had the PM "feature" disabled. As far as Elitemail being accessed by a search warrant...of course it can be. The issue is that the content of the message remains encrypted during transit so it can't be sniffed off the wire. Systems like Carnivore simply search for keywords in the various message fields of an e-mail....pretty low-tech if you think about it.
