A sad reality, we lost a bro.

Ok, now I'm not trying to start a look at me thread or anything but it has been touched on in the RIP thread and I need to get this off my chest.

Guardian was a great guy, not just to us here on EF but from what I gather to everyone that he encountered in his life. Even though I only met him in person one time, he was very willing to welcome me to his gym, give me advice and hold a nice conversation with me on a day he was running short on time. I truly feel like our "community" has lost a soul that can never be replaced, a genuinely good hearted, intelligent person. RIP

That being said, we are all in shock, it has been just over 2 weeks since his passing and just under a few days for us in the EF world to absorb all the information and deal with the feelings. I can't even imagine how those really close to him are feeling. I think it is our responsibility as his "friends" to at the very least not cause them more pain with our speculation.

However.......we need to be realistic. Unfortunately you can guarantee that the topic of aas has or will come up regarding his passing. His close family will find out about EF, if they haven't already, and if his wife didn't know about his "lifestyle", she will. There is no way a 31yr old in the shape he was in and with the healthy lifestyle he was in will go un investigated, by someone. It is simply unrealistic to think so.

So what do we do as a community? That's what I'm asking. Unfortunately I think we should be prepared to help because I really believe there is going to be a storm coming our way. What would guardian want regarding this topic?

Does anyone know the cause of death? Was it a car accident? Did he have a heart attack? Can we find out before the rumors start!

This really bummed me out the hear. I'm in a bit of shock. And for now, it's important for everyone here to conduct themselves in the most responsible way. No rumors, no rants. Guardian came off as someone who always advocated moderate use of anabolics. He didn't use DNP, or insulin or outrageous dosages so it would be a shock to hear that they had anything to do with his passing. Nevertheless, let's try to get the story straight without sensationalizing the event. I think that's what Guardian would have wanted.

In my opinion, this is EF's saddest day.

In the main thread, someone posted a blog post by one of his friends. She said that he passed of a heart attack in his sleep. He was only 31 years old. It really makes me question the safety of things like eca and clen which he was particularly fond of. It looked like it worked great for him, but who knows the affects it had on his heart.

On the other hand of course, it could have nothing to do with them. Just a personal example, my father died of heart failure at 36 in the middle of the night. Was in great health, definitely never touched anything like clen or eca or aas, yet he passed out of nowhere. So it can really happen to anyone at anytime if you have a family history of it, and even if you don't.

However, it would be naive to not consider the possibility that clen, eca, or aas had something to do with his death.

I don't think we should be speculating out of respect.

We all know the risks of what we do, don't bullshit yourself ever into thinking anything you do is safer than _not_ doing it.

I agree, and out of respect this will be the last post I make on the subject. His passing was just a big reality check for me (and I'm sure I'm not alone). I'm going to start focusing a lot more on health and less on appearance and start taking some of the listed side affects of various compounds a little more seriously. I am possibly more personally shaken by it than others because my father passed of heart failure at 36 and it just hit me a little close to home.

cant really 100 percent blame steriod use he might of had a pre consisting problem with his heart.....u have to look at family history there might of been alot of heart problems in his family...well never know anyways he was a great guy and he will be missed

I have some details, pm me. I will not post them.

honestly i cant stop thinking about this .. i feel so dam terrible about it and its bothering me non-stop. probably because with all the time i spend on here, i grew to considered him a good friend and a great person , knowing him from the internet or not makes no difference at all to me ... .. a great human being with everything to live for and its taken away .. it fuckin sucks !

i was shocked to death to hear this tradegy , i thought it was some kind of joke, he was a very good bro and helped me out many times though pm gave great advice

I wish to express my sincerest condolences on behalf of EF to Guardian and his family and friends. This is a shock to everyone on this board and he will be missed tremendously.

Guardian was a good man. I feel that any specuation or assertion to the nature of his passing would be inappropriate out of respect of his memory and out of respect of his familly. He was a good man and loved by many people from all over the world.

hmm, I am thinking of starting baby aspirin therapy, it would help my mind for sure to know I am taking something for heart health.

Speak to a doctor about that before starting it. Aspirin can have its own slew of problems. For instance, the warning label of any NSAID (which aspirin is one) will mention the possibility of internal bleeding from use. Also ulcers and other gastrointestinal side affects are a possibility too.
