A quick rant!

I'm sure everyone else has their things that piss them off about some people who work out. Here is my latest...

A buddy of mine told me he inclined 405lbs.... according to Flex magazine since he did 320 for 7. They have a chart that says bla bla bla.

As if that was not annoying enough I though about something else. Did he put 3 45's on each side of the bar with a 2.5?!?!?

Wait... sounds like he may have used the Smith Machine.

Bingo. Not only is he telling me he DID 405lbs and it was a chart that says he could. He was not even using the bar. He was using the Smith Machine.

*I am not even going to start on the fact that he squats what ever lbs (on the Smith and quarter squats at that).

Thanks for listening to my rant. I wrote this to get out the tension so I wouldn't punch him in the face when he says this stuff!
 
I hear ya...I hate people that pack on plates and only do half range motion and some only do about 1/3 range motion...I mean what's the f.cking point! :evil:
 
No tren here. I do have a bit of a bad temper. I am actually scared of taking tren. I am pretty sure I would kill everyone then kill myself.
 
i have 2 pet peeves, #1 talking on cell phones while lifting,#2 bouncing up and down so fast on the squat rack its like they are jumping with the weight

In all honestly and I'm not making this up...I saw a personal trainer have a client with about 150lbs on his shoulders...jump up...go directly into a deep squat and spring back up...and the fool was doing it...10 times for 3 sets! What do they teach at personal trainer college(LOL) :p ?

Two of mine are the peeps who bounce like that when doing calves, and the peeps who curl all the way to their chin... as if going higher than their nipple will work the bicep somehow. LoL
 
There was a guy at my gym who used to read the paper in between sets. He would read a whole article and then do another set. I switched gyms fast.
