A question...

Ok.. for all those that are going to tell me to do a search.. I'm sorry, but I won't.

By now, many of you know me, or atleast semi know me. I would like some help, seriously if possible from a few of you, and advice. I would like to start taking DNP... Before you start hounding me on this... I would like to let you know that I have lost weight normally first, and I am not just trying to find a "quick way out". Now then.. I lost 60 lbs or so from about july-oct... the problem is, after that.. it stopped, even with the diet, and excersise/training (lifting/jogging)... I had seemed to hit a wall... So.. I layed off the diet... and I have not gained any weight whatsoever. So obviously my metabolism is up from the gained LBM and lowered weight...
So the advice I would like.. well, advice and information, is that of DNP. I would like, either posted, or pm'd if prefered, both advice on how much to take based on ME... I am 220 6'2, with a gut still... I would like to lose the fat.. and then continue with the heavy training.. or even at the same time if possible (though unlikely). I would also, if possible like to know prices, or atleast price ranges of DNP. and while I do know some effects (like feeling like a semi hit you)... I would like a rundown on the effects please. ;)

I doubt anyone will help, but I have my hopes... I would love to continue on my crusade on the weight loss.. I have already made great gains.. and am already starting to grab attention of some ladies.. I have already had a huge self confidence boost, and I know the further I make it into a great body, the more it will boost. Thank you for your time.

Yet another candidate for the Darwin Awards.

Sigh, I'll try not to be a complete asshole here. Have you ever tried a keto diet? What about ECA? There's plenty of alternatives out there...

You seem like a smart kid for the most part. I seriously hope you reconsider.

Yes.. my first dieting cycle starting in july was Keto, when that slowed down, I then kept on the Keto, and added in ECA.. my body has now, or seems that it has become used to the Keto, and ECA, and I was stuck for over a month and a half (still on ECA and Keto), at 220lbs.

I did expect to get some reply's like this, and I don't mind any asshole remarks... But truthfully, I will be ignoring them for the most part, and am looking for some answers.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to take craploads of this, I want to take a light cycle of it..

DNP - dead nigga porridge

DW - I have never been overweight and don't know what it's like to have lost a fair amount of weight and then hit a wall, but I can't imagine you're at a point where you need to consider some dangerous shit like DNPeepee. I have hit sticking points in trying to gain weight, and when I look back at them, I simply wasn't eating enough or switching up the routine in the gym.
Post up your diet and what kind of cardio you're doing. I know you post about roller blading every now and then, but I don't believe you're up every morning doing cardio on an empty stomach followed by a strict, sub-maintenance level, Dorito-free diet. No offense, but with the depressed state you generally seem to be in, it'd be almost impossible to maintain the focus you need to diet down the right way. Not only that, but if you're not willing to put in the effort it takes to click on the Search button, enter "DNP," and do some reading, it's hard to believe you're getting up every morning, running and eating right.
I'm not even a remote fan of ECA, and I'd recommend that to you happily before saying, "Shit, how bout some DNP?"

Thanks sermon and SSM for your reply's...

Sermon.. yes.. I have made up my mind.. I'm very strange in that.. although, your reply is in my mind now.

SSM - In reply to your "doritoless diet".. I haven't eaten any dorito's, or anything of that nature in over 6 months. Other than maybe once or twice... but its definately not in my diet... I am out of the diet right now, mainly money reasons.. but I did get payed today, and should be able to pick up some stuff. I was running 3-4 times a week for a while.. but it was never in the morning... I am a night owl, and don't wake up untill 2pmish usually (unless I have to work earlier). When I run, It's almost always around 2am. It's also that I am not to lazy to look up info on DNP with the search function, I have done that before... It was that I would like a more personal response to it.. and thus far I have gotton exactly that. I wouldn't be taking ECA so much.. but some nights I don't feel like sleeping, so I will pop 2-3, and go outside and workout... I think I will go take a trip over to the diet forum, and see If I can get someone to lay me out a good diet that is low fat/low carb.. and with a wide enough variety of foods.. I got so sick of the low carb/high protein.. I am one with wide tastes.. and the same thing all the time really gets to me, to a point where I would rather not eat at all then eat the same thign.. again.. and again...

...Not to mention that DNP will prevent the conversion of tryptophan to serotonin in the brain, which will in turn exacerbate depression. Before/if you claim you're not depressed already, the lack of serotonin will certainly induce it.

Ditto on the rest of supersizeme's post. Post up your diet and excercise routine so we can help.

At the current time I have no set excersise and diet, as I was fustrated with over a month and a half of no progress, so I stopped... I am again in the drive to continue.. and would like it to continue.. and not stay like it did for that time.

I was told before by members that running everyday may be bad, as there is a such thing as too much cardio.. is this false?... if not, I will definately run every afternoon (my morning). also, what would be the best thing to eat afterwards? regular cereal and such? (carb repacement?)

you can't train on dnp very effectively, and also if you do continue to do cardio while doing dnp you can deplete your electrolytes, water, minerals, vitamins, and also your atp (which will in fact kill you). If you do ever decide to try this do your homework like you have never researched anything before... and i mean anything!

I'm a night owl, too. The term "morning" is relative to whenever you get up. I get up at around 3pm during the week and then head to the gym at about 4:30pm, so that's morning to me. You should try running as soon as you get up as opposed to late at night. Your metabolism will be higher throughout the rest of the day, and then maybe you can lift weights at 2am if you have the equipment at home.
Diet is a whole different beast. Yes, it sucks eating the same thing all the time. You have to learn to adjust your view of food as a means to your physical goals as opposed to something you derive pleasure from. It's not easy, but seeing results from the mirror makes the chicken and rice go down easier. You can break 200lbs easy if you start running on an empty stomach, hitting the weights at night, and knocking out the carbs and saturated fat. It just takes some work. At best, DNP is going to melt some fat off you that your current habits will put right back on.

I do infact have free weights and a bench/squat rack at home.. over 300 lbs in weights.. so they do me pretty good...
I didn't expect to change my mind, but thank you very much SSM.. you have infact changed my view..
I have made a post over at the diet board, and will look into a solid diet... I will also come up with solid running sessions.. This should probobly be put in the training forum, but while im here.. and you are here.. how long and how hard should I run every "morning"?

It's probably a good thing that you took time off dieting, then - did you do keto straight for a long period of time without any kind of carb-up or refeed? That'll wax your thyroid, and make it very hard to lose weight after a point. You'll likely lose a heap of weight when you start dieting again just because you took a break.

I don't think hitting the cardio HARD from now - that is, every day - would be a good idea. If you do, how are you going to shake things up if you hit another sticking point? I would advise you to do no more than five low-to-moderate intensity cardio sessions per week to start, and if you don't see significant results, increase either the intensity or frequency.

Also be aware that more than a certain amount of cardio will hamper muscle and strength gains, due to recruiting Type I (slow-twitch) muscle fibers, the aerobic fibers, rather than Type II (fast-twich), the anaerobic fibers. IIRC, the cutoff point is three 45-minute moderate intensity sessions per week.

Also.. at 220, 6'2.. what would be a reasonable goal to come to? I was thinking 180ish? I am big framed.. always have been.. and do have quite a bit of LBM...

Thanks ceebs.. and you are probobly right.. I did not take ANY breaks in my low KETO diet from july-dec... which would make sense why I hit a wall...

Thanks alot ceebs.. honestly.. Even thru all my questions and whines since I have joined, you have done nothing but give me great and healthy answers ;)

180 - 190 is a reasonable number, but I'd be more concerned with bodyfat percentage than what the scale says. All the scale tells you is the gravitational pull of your body to the earth. ;)

I have no idea what my body fat is.. but I do hang over my belt a bit... I only have one chin though :p

Ceebs has good advice on the cardio. I wouldn't set 180 as a goal right now. How about 210 in the next 2-3 months? Once you get there, set your eyes 200. You can easily get there in 6 months.

I recommend 5-6 intense ribbon twirling sessions(30-45 minutes, altnerating left hand and right hand halfway through) each week. Use any shade of pastel you want for leg warmers, but make sure they don't clash with your tights. Start off with the blue ribbon and then move to up the yellow and green striped one. I didn't really start putting on size until I started twirling like I meant it.
