A Question For Anyone That Has Used SPIRO Before

I've been taking nizoral with inner shampoo and it hasn;t really worked at all. My hairline seems to be receding more and more. I was thinking about switching to topical spiro. How long does that stuff take to start working?? Also, does it help regrow old hair, or just stop it from falling out?? Very dissapointed in nizoral. Need help bad(I'm only 22).

Comon Now, I know some of you use spiro...

dont "switch", ADD it to your regimine, starts "working" as soon as you use it. that does not mean hair grows back as soon as you use it, just that it starts blocking dht when you start.

spiro wont regrow hair, it just helps to keep it from falling out. try some minoxidil or some xandrox from www.minoxidil.com

Exactly what fishtales said, it wont regrow, but it will stop the loss right away, buy the 12.5 xandrox to regrow your hairline

How often do you apply the spiro? Once a day, or more?

Once a day before bed worked OK for me to stem the losses while on, but what really worked was staying off 12 weeks and continuing to take finasteride.

Ultimately many are going to be fighting a losing battle with hair taking androgens - the Nizoral, spiro, finasteride and so on do help, but that's all they do - help.

Unless you're prone to MPB, you'll notice a huge improvement if you stay off AS 10 weeks or more and continue taking finasteride, IMHO...

Thanks for the help bro's. I'm about to order some spriro and 12.5 xandrox. Should I get the 2% or 5% spiro?? The xandrox really sounds good, can anyone give it a testimonial.

I use spiro nightly, after a shower to increase hydration, alternate nizoral with a selenium based dandruff shampoo, and rather than pay out the ass for Xandrox, I buy minoxidil 5%, four bottles for $20 at Costco, then add minoxidil tabs bought online to increase the potency to 10-12%.
