A question about Kill Bill series...

Ok... why didn't the girls in that assassin gang have hanzo swords?

Bill did, Budd did. But Elle Driver didn't. I think that is why she had so much desire to purchase one. Lucy had a sword but it wasn't a hanzo because it snapped (didn't it?) and the first girl that Kiddo killed didn't have a sword either.

So... what significant was this?

Hanzo was out of the sword making business, he took an oath, he then said "fuck the oath" and made one for "bleep" because deep down he did not care for Bill, since Hanzo was not the sword making kind of guy that he once was his swords were few and far between, any hardcore collector or person without would pay a mill for another Hanzo sword, like Elle.
