A new virus - be careful

This one got me. The email said:

SMTP: Please confirm the attached message.

++++ Norman AntiVirus - www.norman.com

Very misleading. I had assumed that Norman scanned the email but it was just a gimmick to get me to open the email and when I did BOOM, I got a fuckin virus. Anyway the subject heading was "Protected Mail System". DONT OPEN THIS EMAIL.

Not with this one. Norton detects it but for some reason it can't remove it since the virus is embedded in a windows file that can't be deleted. Some files on you system cannot be removed and if you are able to remove them it fucks up your operating system.

No, that would be the equivalent of re-installing windows, which makes your computer super slow.

I don't buy that one either. Re-installing windows should not slow your computer down. Unless by doing so you initiate useless services and software that is dragging your computer down.

Anyway, I still think you can do it yourself. I'd hate to see you waste money on something that should be simple enough to fix with a little help or the right software.
